Eye Makeup Tips to Help you Save Time

Eye makeup tips are almost always too heavy on the glamour. I know, tough to imagine. Can you really be too glamorous? However, with eye makeup less could be more. You simply cannot go around with that incredibly detailed “smoky eye” club look when you are at work. Or at least, it would be unwise.

Of course, you can still get your eyes noticed with less makeup. You can get many of the same effects with less makeup for everyday wear. In fact these looks can save you major minutes. This look really cut down on my eye makeup application time.

People mostly use eye makeup to accentuate their eyes. The best way to do this with everyday makeup is to make them look bigger. Use these simple eye makeup tips to make your eyes look bigger even if you do not want to look like you are wearing much (or any) makeup.

You will need a light, gold toned eye shadow and a darker one like brown. These should complement your skin tones. They should not contain glitter but they can be reflective. Using Loreal’s “Wear Infinite” Holographic line works well.

1. Extend the light eye shadow up to your brow. This evens out the skin and makes your eye area look smooth and bright.

2. Draw a line using the darker eye shadow in the crease of your eye. You are drawing a thick semi-circle over your eye. You can widen and brighten your eyes with this darker shade.

Now you’re all done. Enjoy your new, brighter look. You can dress the look up with a white or pink back tone and violet for the semi circle You might also apply a slightly darker shade on your lid. If you want to make this look pop for evening, then try a bright eye liner or thin line of eye shadow along the very top of the lid. Use these eye makeup tips to cut prep time.
